Activities Director

Rocky Mountain Care – The Lodge is excited to announce we are looking for a full-time Activities Director to join our team in our Heber location. The ideal candidate has a fun and energetic personality, experience working with seniors, experience in activity planning and the ability to manage a small team.

Duties include overseeing the facility’s activity programs, planning the monthly activities calendars, preparing and running daily activities including games, crafts, etc., coordinating/scheduling various programs to come in to the facility and most importantly having fun with the residents.

Candidates must be able to:

  • Maintain a positive atmosphere
  • Multitask and work efficiently
  • Give direction and stay on task
  • Communicate well with coworkers and residents
  • Work hard and be reliable
  • Be creative and have fun

Requirements:

  • Has a passion for world class, 5 start quality care for our Residents
  • Is creative and knows how to make a limited budget work
  • Strong team player
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • 1 year previous experience in Skilled Nursing Activities
