Application Support Administrator I
The Application Support Administrator deploys and supports off-the-shelf software for Rocky Mountain Care business verticals including Skilled Nursing / Assisted Living / Personal Care / Home Health / Hospice / Therapy / Operations. The role of the Application Admin includes software administration and support, business operations, training, documentation, research, compliance, and reporting. The Application Administrator will find success through gaining expert level knowledge on an ever-growing list of applications and coaching Tier 1 Support (Helpdesk), team managers, and the clinical education team.
Responsibilities / Duties
- Application expert across multiple applications and business verticals.
- Manage enterprise application lifecycles and data integrations
- Troubleshoot application and user issues with empathy, thoughtfulness, and care.
- Manage complex and escalated issues from Tier 1 support
- Write technical/project documentation and procedures
- Stay current on medical rules and regulations that impact your area of responsibility
- Train end-users and support groups on application use and best practice
- Interact with 3rd party vendors
- Minimal travel requirements
- Perform related duties as assigned.
Skills
- Must have a strong customer focus, results oriented.
- Advanced knowledge of terminology used in association with the medical field
- Advanced knowledge of Office applications, cloud-based tools, and Windows operating systems.
- Advanced troubleshooting techniques with software and hardware.
- Capable of exercising discretion and independent judgement.
- The ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
- Ability to work with detail, follow directions and maintain a high level of accuracy.
- Understanding of HIPAA, HITECH, PHI, and PII.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to communicate effectively with employees throughout the organization.
- Ability to remain calm and professional during peak periods of inquiries.
- Ability to maintain a professional appearance.
- Capable of prioritizing as well as clearly and logically organizing information received from users.
Required Skills
- 1-3 years’ experience using or supporting a EMR / EHR
Preferred Skills
- Clinical experience
- Administration of EMR or related clinical software
Pay
Starting at $18.00/hr
Location
Woods Cross, Utah
Information
This is a full-time permanent position. Days and hours of work are typically Monday-Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm, and rotating on-call support.
