About Summit Ridge Skilled Nursing

Summit Ridge Skilled Nursing was previously known as Douglas Care Center, a trusted part of the Douglas community for decades.

Summit Ridge Skilled Nursing is a Medicare and Medicaid certified skilled nursing facility located at the corner of Birch and 11th Street in east-central Douglas, Wyoming, near the banks of the North Platte River at the intersection of I-25 and Highway 59. Our 29,454-square-foot community offers private and semi-private rooms, a bariatric suite, a whirlpool tub, and modern amenities in a warm, home-like setting.

The integrated team of RNs, LPNs, and CNAs is highly trained and ready to meet the needs of your loved one 24 hours a day. As the area’s premier location for Alzheimer’s and dementia care, Summit Ridge features a dedicated 20-bed Special Care Unit alongside full in-house physical, occupational, and speech therapy.

Monthly activity calendars keep families informed, and family participation in special events is always welcome.
